    What do I need on my computer to get started with Uverse.com?
    Microsoft Windows XP SP2 (or higher), Microsoft Windows Vista, or Mac OS X -Internet Explorer 6 (or higher), Firefox 2 (or higher), Safari 3 (or higher) -Adobe Flash Player 9.0.115 (or higher) download -Javascript and cookies also need to be enabled.

    How long is video available for viewing on Uverse.com?
    Most videos will be available indefinitely. However, some content is provided under strict licensing rules that limit the amount of time that a video can be offered on the site

    I live outside the US and can’t watch videos. Why?
    Our content partners currently require that we only allow videos to be shown to Internet users within the U.S. If these requirements change, we will make the videos available to a wider audience.

    What do I do if I'm experiencing choppy or stalled playback during my video viewing experience?
    While uncommon, if you are constantly experiencing frequent stalling or choppy media playback, please check the following: -Ensure that your computer meets the minimum hardware and software requirements. Streaming video playback requires extensive CPU utilization. If your CPU is running at or above 75% utilization, you will likely encounter issues, such as sluggish or choppy media playback. You can reduce CPU usage by closing other programs and background services which you have running at the same time as your web browser. -Windows: Press Ctrl+Alt+Del, click Task Manager and then click the Performance tab. -Mac OS: Open the Activity Monitor Application -Close all other programs and background services that you do not need while viewing online media content.

    Why Should I login to Uverse.com?
    You can browse and watch thousands of full TV show episodes, movies, and clips without logging in to Uverse.com. However, by logging in with your ATT.net member ID, you can access additional features and functionality such as: -Viewing age restricted content (if you meet minimum age requirements) -Rating shows and movies -Creating and managing a personalized library -Sharing videos with friends via email -Viewing your U-verse guide and managing recordings on your DVR (if you have an AT&T U-verse account associated with your ATT.net Member ID)

    How can I get an ID to login to the site?
    You can login to Uverse.com with any ATT.net (or legacy) Member ID. If you don't already have one, click on the U-verse Sign In link in the upper right portion of any page on the site. With your ID, you'll have access to additional features of uverse.com as well as many other AT&T properties on from www.att.net

    I'm using a Firefox browser with AdBlock and noticing that some of the video doesn't play. How do I resolve this?
    If you're using AdBlock with Firefox, please disable AdBlock within your Firefox browser. This will allow you to browse through and enjoy all of the content Uverse.com has to offer!

    How do I use Parental Controls?
    By default, Parental Controls are not enabled. Users may log in and set them from the Settings Page. Enabling Parental Controls will require users of any content rated TVM-MA, R, or NC-17 as well as any content that does not have a rating to enter a PIN to enable viewing. AT&T High Speed Internet users will need to log in with their Master account. Enabling the PIN will automatically require it for all sub-accounts.

    How do I set Uverse.com as my homepage?

    The procedure to set Uverse.com as the homepage differ based on the browser you use. Instructions are provided below for the most common browsers.

    • Internet Explorer
      1. Click the Tools menu in the browser.
      2. Select Internet Options.
      3. Click the General tab.
      4. In the Home page section, enter http://uverse.com in the text box.
      5. Click OK.
    • Firefox
      1. Click the Tools menu in the browser.
      2. Select Options.
      3. Click the General tab.
      4. In the Startup section, select Show my home page in the "When Firefox starts" drop-down.
      5. Enter http://uverse.com in the "Home Page" text box.
      6. Click OK.
    • Google Chrome
      1. Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
      2. Select Options (Preferences on Mac and Linux; Settings on a Chromebook).
      3. Click the Basics tab.
      4. In the Home page section, select Open this page option and enter http://uverse.com in the text box.
      5. Close the tab.
    • Safari
      1. Click the Safari menu in the browser.
      2. Select Preferences.
      3. Click the General tab.
